Tour Plan

Mehrangarh Fort, still managed by the Maharaja of Jodhpur, is a very charming place. A must-go place in Jodhpur. On this 125-meter-high mountain, the height of this ancient fortress gradually becomes apparent as you approach. It's an obsessive, daunting architectural feat. Its battlements are 6-36 meters high. Since the building materials are carved out of the rock at the foot of the castle, the whole building is integrated with its foundation. The maharajas of Jodhpur built many parts for it over the centuries. First of all, it consists of many annexes, such as the Pearl Palace (MotiMahal), the Glass Palace (SheeshMahal), and the Treasure Pavilion (DaulatKhana). These palaces themselves are exquisite works of art, with ceilings, doors, windows and walls all in different shapes and colors. Secondly, since the castle was built entirely on the basis of the mountain, although the exterior is integrated, the interior palaces are on different planes and are connected by corridor stairs. This kind of building pattern of outer circle and inner square is still worthy of investigation and study by people in the construction industry until now.

Umaid Bhawan Palace is a newer palace in India and one of the very largest private residences in the world. Located in a lush garden, the golden sandstone building adopts the geometric and streamlined styles that were popular in the early 20th century. This 347-room palace was designed by the chairman of the British School of Architecture for Umay Singh. After 15 years of engineering, 3,000 workers and 11 million rupees were used. It was completed in 1943. The main residence of the Jodhpur royal family. Umai Singh died in 1947, just four short years after the palace was built. However, Jodhpur's current maharaja, Gaj Singh II, still lives here, but only as part of the palace. The rest has been converted into a grand hotel. There is also a museum inside the Umaid Bhawan Palace, which showcases the elegant Art Deco design of the palace's interior. On top of that, there are some beautiful craft weapons, a row of stuffed leopards, some odd collection of clocks. On the lawn in front of the museum were some very brightly polished vintage cars.

It is a heritage spot situated in the outskirts of Jodpur. This garden has a high rock terrace, which is the most prominent attraction. Mandore Gardens also house a government museum, a “Hall of Heroes” and a temple to 33 crore Gods. The architectural splendor of the bygone era is clearly evident here.

It is located on the west of city. It’s an artifcaial lake, constructed in the year 1872 by Pratap Singh. It’s a birdwatchers paradise and you could sail on a boat if you aim to add some breathtaking photograhs to your

Its a famous landmark in the Old City. The clock tower offers a good view of the fort. Sardar Maket is adjacent to Clock Tower with around 7000 shops; where you can have a great shopping experience.
